Alice Cooper Gives Speech At Church Services

Churchgoers in Ohio got quite the surprise during their Sunday services. Rather than just an average sermon, Alice Cooper handled duties from the pulpit. The legendary shock rocker, along with his wife, were guests of Parkside Church's Pastor Alistair Begg. In his message, Cooper told parishioners how returning to Christianity saved his life, noting, "I went as far away from the church as I could and of course I became an alcoholic; I became a drug addict and Sheryl lived through that with me." Cooper feels he can be religious and a rock star, recently admitting to the New York Daily News, "People have a very warped view of Christianity. They think it's all very precise and we never do wrong and we're praying all day and we're right-wing. It has nothing to do with that."
