Family Found Living in a Cellar for 9 Years, Thought World Had Ended

A family of seven has been discovered holed up in a farm house cellar, where they've been "waiting for the end of time," police say. The discovery was made Monday in the Netherlands after one of the people -- a 25-year-old man -- sneaked out and walked to a nearby pub, where patrons described him as "completely confused" and "unkempt." After police escorted him back to the farm, they discovered the rest of the family -- a 58-year-old man and five others between the ages of 18 and 25. The rest of the family was surprised to learn other humans were still alive in the world, police say. Authorities say the family has been hiding out for more than nine years. "I've never seen anything like it," says Mayor Roger de Groot. If you thought the world was coming to end, where would you go? How would people behave?
